BratchCo Foundation Repair is committed to making bratchcosolutions.com usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology.

Conformance status

This website aims to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.

Features that support accessibility

  • Skip-to-content link for keyboard users at the top of every page
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element (yellow ring)
  • Semantic HTML5 landmarks (header, nav, main, footer)
  • Descriptive alternative text on informative images; decorative icons marked aria-hidden
  • Form fields labeled with associated label elements and required fields marked with aria-required
  • Toggle and segmented controls expose state via aria-pressed
  • Form submission feedback announced via aria-live regions for screen reader users
  • Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA on body text (4.5 to 1) and large text (3 to 1)
  • Respects the prefers-reduced-motion system setting
  • Site language declared in the html element for screen reader pronunciation
  • Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 CSS pixels on mobile views
  • Structured data (JSON-LD) so assistive technology and AI assistants can parse the site cleanly

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content on the site may not yet be fully accessible. Examples include:

  • Some interactive maps and SVG diagrams supplement, but are not the sole means of conveying, the information presented. The same data is available in the chip list and detail panels alongside the map.
  • Third-party embeds (Google reviews widgets, etc.) follow their providers accessibility implementations and may not yet meet AA.
